Technology and the Common Core State Standards

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are a sea change for public education.  These standards will align what is happening in our classrooms with what is happening in classrooms across the country and around the world.  With the goal of preparing all students to be college and workforce ready, the CCSS require students to question, reason, read, and write at a higher level than ever before.  They also assume that all of our students will be technologically literate.  Are all of our students there?  Will they be ready in time to take the first round of CCSS assessments in 2014-15?

This blog will address these issues by providing resources about technology and the Common Core State Standards.
